The Samsung i7 offers a new type of usability, with a rotating LCD applied to a digital camera for the first time. The new user interface allows the Samsung i7’s mode to switch automatically depending on the angle of the LCD screen. With a 3.0” 230,000-pixel LCD, the Samsung i7 provides wider, clearer images. An innovative user interface makes it possible for the power to be on and for the camera’s mode to switch with the rotation of the LCD

	You don’t have to search for the power button to take a picture. Just slide the LCD slightly : the power comes ON and the grip hidden by the LCD becomes available for faster, more convenient, shooting.
	Turn the LCD 90 degrees and the mode automatically switches to Portable Multimedia Player(PMP) mode. You can enjoy a movie with the LCD and camera body arranged in a T shape for your maximum comfort.
	In the MP3 player mode, you can enjoy music with the LCD closed within the Samsung i7’s original slim size to carry it in your handbag or pocket.

Besides the digital camera in a slim body, the Samsung i7 also has 7 other multimedia functions – Camcorder, MP3 player, Portable Multimedia Player, Text viewer, Voice recorder, Portable disk, and the newly added World Tour Guide function. The world-famous 3D audio technology SRS WOW HD built into the Samsung i7 enables you to enjoy dynamic 3D sound quality when you listen to music in the MP3 player mode or watch a movie in the PMP mode.

 Face Recognition AF & AE

With the Face Recognition AF & AE function, the Samsung i7 enables the user to take better portrait pictures more easily. The function detects faces and automatically focuses on them; the brightness of the face is adjusted optimally for beautiful portrait pictures.


 ISO 1600 high sensitivity support

The Samsung i7 produces vivid pictures even in low light. The camera has an auto sensitivity feature that automatically adjusts sensitivity up to ISO 1600 depending on the ambient exposure conditions. The high sensitivity setting of ISO 1600 enables you to take clear indoor pictures, even in poor light without camera shake or image blur. [ISO AUTO, 80, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600]



 Advanced Shake Reduction

The ASR technology prevents the degradation of image clarity and colour which is sometimes found in flash photography. With ASR the effects of camera shake are reduced in lower light conditions. You can even take well exposed, sharper pictures in low light without using a flash at all, resulting in more natural looking pictures.


 Wise Shot

This feature takes a shot using both ASR and Flash simultaneously. It then compares the results and gives you the better picture of the two. ( i.e. the flash shot if it is better than the ASR shot, and vice versa)


 Red-eye Fix

The Red-eye Fix algorithm programmed into the camera automatically eliminates red eye in shoot and play modes, allowing you take a natural portrait photo.  


 14 Scene modes

With the application of the constantly improved MPEG-4 format, the Samsung i7 supports a compression rate that is 3-4 times higher than that of MJPEG. Even at SVGA quality (800X592), you can shoot moving picture images longer.

 Diverse moving picture shooting/editing functions

With colour effects like black & white, and sepia, the successive shooting and camera shake reduction functions, the Samsung i7 supports a powerful moving picture shooting capability comparable to a general dedicated camcorder. The Samsung i7 also supports the still image creation function that saves a frame of a moving picture clip as a still picture and edits the image on camera.
